Final Day of Production Rehearsals. Everyone is getting so excited about opening night. Let the show begin! ... tourblog

What a day what a day! Everyone did an excellent job today and got a massive amount done during the second day of production rehearsals. Although Team KM didn’t make a full dress rehearsal yesterday on the 28th – today didn’t stop us from achieving that and kicking some major goals.

Production Rehearsal went incredibly well – everyone putting in 100%. Choreographer Tony Testa and assistant Jillian Mayers worked hard on the last day before show day to perfect the dancers moves. The choreography is beautiful and eye catching.

The sun is San Francisco slept behind the clouds today which was quite a change from the past 2 days. No doubt tomorrow will be sunny for opening night! Nerves are buzzing and Kamp Kylie is getting incredibly excited. Oh my goodness … Kylie-fornia !

Tour Tracker: Kylie Minogue

Kyle Minogue announced her first-ever U.S. tour today. The Aussie pop star will hit only five U.S. cities (and one Canadian market, Toronto) this fall, but promoter Bill Silva is hopeful there’s more to come: “We are confident in the tour’s success, and hope that Kylie will make this the first of many tours to our shores,” he said in a press release.

Kylie's North American fans will finally get a chance to experience the pop superstar live in concert when her 6-city tour kicks off in Oakland, San Francisco on September 30th!

Over the course of her extraordinary 20-year-career, Kylie has undertaken 8 sold-out world tours including last year's KylieX2008 tour which traveled to 21 countries throughout Europe, South America, Dubai, Asia, New Zealand and Australia, generating an estimated $70,000,000 in ticket sales. Kylie couldn't be more excited about her first ever tour through North America.

"I've wanted to tour in America and Canada for years," admits Kylie, "I know that fans have been waiting a long time for this and I'm thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived."

Kylie's eagerly-awaited North American concert debut is being produced by Los Angeles-based concert promotion firm Bill Silva Presents (BSP).

"Kylie has such a successful career outside of North America that it has taken quite a while to find a window in her schedule for the U.S. and Canada," said Silva. "Her amazing fans in North America will be well rewarded for their patience when they experience her show and its entire spectacle. We are confident in the tour's success, and hope that Kylie will make this the first of many tours to our shores."

Tickets will go on sale in each market on the weekend of May 15, however early access to tickets in the U.S. will be available to American Express Cardmembers beginning this Thursday, May 7, through Ticketmaster. Kylie will be appearing at "Zaczelo Sie w Polsce" ("It began in Poland") open air concert in Poland on 4th June!

This special event, which takes place in Gdansk (Stocznia Gdanska / Gdansk Shipyard), marks the 20th Anniversary of the First Free Elections in Poland in 1989. Other artists performing on the evening include Scorpions,Kora,Kombii,Lombard,Tomasz Lipinski and Tilt.

Kylie will be headlining MTV Day 2009 Festival on 2nd July in Madrid! This one-night festival organized by MTV takes place every summer in Madrid and is one of the main musical events in Spain.

Kylie will bring her spectacular show to the iconic Las Ventas bullring in Madrid. Thousands of fans will be treated to a night they'll long remember.

KYLIE RETURNING TO DENMARK FOR SUMMER FESTIVAL!

Just announced – Kylie is to headline the Smukkeste Festival in Skanderborg, Denmark on Thursday August 6th for its 30th anniversary year. As one of the premier festivals in Scandinavia, the five day event in Dyrehaven (Skanderborg) has earned itself the title of "Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival" due to its scenic location in a beautiful beech forest 25km outside of Aarhus. Also appearing at Smukkeste this year will be The Streets and Fatboy Slim.

The festival takes place in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco and has evolved as a major musical event in Africa. His Majesty the King of Morocco is the patron of the festival which is a free event to celebrate multicultural world music.

KYLIE TO PERFORM AT 'TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN' IN AUSTRIA!

Kylie will perform on the 2nd May 2009 at the 'Top of the Mountain' show in Ischgl, Austria!

About 20,000 people are expected to attend the free concert given by Kylie and her full band and dancers, held in a natural bowl near the top station of the main Silvrettabahn gondola from the centre of the village.

Kylie follows in the footsteps of a galaxy of other superstars who have entertained skiers and boarders in the Austrian resort's traditional Top of the Mountain gig, including Elton John, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Sting, Bon Jovi, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel, Alanis Morissette, P!nk and Scissor Sisters.

The concert will be held at lunchtime on Saturday 2nd May - the closing weekend of the Tirolean resort.

Kylie is delighted to be returning to Austria for her first daytime concert!
