Ruhrgebiet. Nach ihrer Krebserkrankung hat sich die australische Sängerin Kylie Minogue zurückgemeldet, als wäre sie nie weg gewesen. Zu ihrer Krankheit hat sie sich auch geäußert - aber immer vorsichtig

Sie kam, sang und räkelte sich, und es war, als hätte sie nie Krebs gehabt. Krebs hat keine blonden Haare, Krebs hat keine tiefroten Lippen, Krebs streckt nicht ein zurückhaltend bestrumpftes Bein bis zum Anschlag in die Höhe. Es war, vor einem Monat bei "Wetten, dass . . .?", Kylie Minogues erster Auftritt im deutschen Fernsehen seit der Krankheit. Sie sang "2 Hearts" und wurde im späteren Verlauf des Abends auf der Couch von Thomas Gottschalk nicht weiter belästigt mit tiefergehenden Fragen. Lieber Himmel, dies ist die Samstagsabends-Show! Die Antwort, die Minogues Auftritt dennoch gab auf ungestellte Fragen, war eindeutig.

Brustkrebs? Die Show wird weitergehen

Sie hat sich natürlich geäußert bei anderen Gelegenheiten, aber immer vorsichtig: Es sei "komisch, wieder zu arbeiten, aber das gehört zur Heilung", sagte sie bei einem Promotion-Termin im Herbst dem Stern: "Wenn man alles verliert, wenn man seine Augenbrauen und seine Haare wieder wachsen lassen muss, das ist schon erstaunlich." Aber was sie wirklich vorhat, das steckt wohl in: "Ich bin immer noch dieselbe Person, nur mit ein bisschen mehr Erfahrung." Dieselbe Person mit ein bisschen mehr Erfahrung antwortete auf einer anderen Pressekonferenz auf die Frage, wieso sie mit 39 Jahren so gut aussehe: "Es sind die Scheinwerfer, Schatz!"

Interpretationen ihres "2 Hearts"-Videos, die Schlüsse ziehen auf eine veränderte Persönlichkeit aus ihrem schwarzen Kleid und ihrem Mikrofon, das aussieht wie ein Totenkopf, sind bis auf weiteres nur feuilletonistisches Geraune. Wer achtet denn auf sowas? Auch hatte sie sich ja bereits zurückgemeldet mit einem schmalen Fotoband mit Bademoden und dort bella figura gemacht. Oder sollte die schwarze Sonnenbrille uns etwas sagen?

Nein, die Show wird weitergehen. Wenn nichts mehr passiert

Es ist ein weiter Weg, wenn man mit 39 Jahren auf 21 Jahre Bühnenerfahrung schaut. Und doch kann man ihn schnell erzählen: Ihre Teeniejahre in Melbourne verlebt Kylie Minogue weitgehend in Seifenopern. "Ich brauchte nur in verschmutzten Overalls in einer Autowerkstatt herumzuliegen und zu lächeln", hat sie einmal gesagt. Typ Kumpel, geliebt in Australien, ein pausbäckiges Dauerwellengesicht. Sie bricht die Schule ab, um Schauspielerin auch zu lernen, und geht dann in die Kurve hin zum Pop. Da hat sie einige große Erfolge, zieht aber abschätzige Begriffe auf sich, von denen "singender Wellensittich" noch einer der gepflegteren ist; und "Geilie" 15 Jahre später der Tiefpunkt.

Die Erfolge verlaufen sich nach vier, fünf Jahren, Kylie Minogue versucht sich mit etwas anspruchsvollerer Popmusik und steht bald vor dem üblichen Ergebnis: Kritiker sind angetan, aber das große Publikum bleibt aus. Jetzt, Mitte der 90er, ist sie noch längst nicht in der Ruhmeshalle jener Sänger, die die Welt beim Vornamen nennt; der Halle, in der Madonna wohnt und Elvis - und für die man natürlich nicht nur Können braucht, sondern auch einen seltenen Vornamen.

Dann, Anfang des Jahrtausends, explodiert ihre Karriere: Kylie Minogue legt sich ein Sexsymbol-Image zu, holt die alten Disco-Klamotten und den -Sound wieder raus und singt und tourt und tourt und singt: "Your Disco needs you", "Slow", "Can't get you out of my mind" . . .

Im Oktober 2005 bricht sie die "Showgirl"-Tournee ab. Diagnose Brustkrebs. Operation. Chemotherapie. Wenige Bilder. Kylie kahlköpfig. In der Folge werden dramatisch mehr Frauen in Australien als jemals zuvor zur Krebs-Früherkennung gehen. Ärzte nennen es den "Kylie-Effekt", und wahrscheinlich erklärt er sich ganz einfach so: Wenn selbst so eine strahlende Frau schmutzigen Krebs kriegen kann . . . Wenn selbst so eine Frau, so geht es weiter bis heute auf dem Boulevard: So eine Frau allein ist . . . so eine Frau einen unerfüllten Kinderwunsch mit sich schleppt . . . Es sind vor allem junge Frauen, die ihre Konzerte auf der Wieder-da!-Tournee besuchen, programmatischer Titel: "Showgirl Homecoming".

Ende 2007 hat die Queen Kylie Minogue wegen ihrer Verdienste um die Musik zum Offizier im britischen Ritterorden ernannt. Da sie Ausländerin ist, ist sie nur Mitglied ehrenhalber und darf auch nicht den Titel "Lady" führen. Er käme auch 20 Jahre zu früh. Denn die Show wird noch weitergehen.

LONDON (urlbase.de) - Heather Mills ist eifersüchtig auf Kylie Minogue. Der Grund: Ihr Noch-Ehemann Paul McCartney umarmte die australische Sängerin während eines Duetts im britischen Fernsehen mehrmals leidenschaftlich. Mills soll beim Zusehen in Tränen ausgebrochen sein. Ein Insider sagte der britischen Zeitung "Sunday Mirror": "Sie ist wirklich sauer, dass Paul Kylie so nahe gekommen ist. Sie nimmt an, dass er es mit Absicht gemacht hat, um sie öffentlich zu demütigen. Sie glaubt, dass er damit nur beweisen wollte, dass er über sie hinweg ist und die Anwesenheit anderer Frauen genießt. Sie war so verletzt, dass sie weinte."

Paul McCartney und Heather Mills befinden sich seit Monaten in einem hartnäckigen und ziemlich öffentlichen Scheidungskrieg. Angeblich forderte Mills immer mehr Geld, McCartney war nicht bereit dies zu zahlen. Zudem geht es um das Sorgerecht für die kleine Beatrice. Ein Ende der Schlacht McCartney/Mills ist bislang nicht abzusehen.

PAUL McCARTNEY: KYLIE MINOGUE erinnert ihn an verstorbene LINDA

LONDON (urlbase.de) - Paul McCartney ist ein großer Bewunderer von Kylie Minogue. Die Art, wie die Sängerin mit ihrer Brustkrebserkrankung umgeht, beeindruckt ihn nämlich sehr. Sie soll ihn sogar an seine verstorbene Frau Linda erinnern, wie ein Insider der britischen Zeitung "Daily Mirror" verriet. Er sagte wörtlich: "Paul bewundert Kylie wirklich. Wie würdevoll sie mit dem Krebs fertig wurde, erinnert ihn an Linda."

Linda und Paul McCartney waren 30 Jahre verheiratet. Linda starb 1998 an Brustkrebs. Die Ehe des Paars galt als harmonisch und glücklich.

Kylie Minogue and Paul McCartney

Mills is reportedly furious with Minogue after estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney flaunted shamelessly with her during a pre-taped New Year's Eve special aired last week.

Minogue writhed around on a grand piano as McCartney sang and Mills, in the midst of a bitter divorce with the former Beatle, believes it was a deliberate pot-shot at her.

McCartney later joined Kylie on stage for a duet of his song Dance Tonight, lifting her in a bear hug when it was over.

"She's really mad about the way Paul got close to Kylie," a friend of Mills told the Sunday Mirror.

"She reckons he did it on purpose and feels it was a deliberate public dig at her."

Last week it was revealed that McCartney had undergone heart surgery in September.

Kylie Minogue will jetzt endlich nach vorne schauen. Doch das gilt nicht nur für ihr Privatleben, sondern auch für ihre anstehende Tour "Kylie X 2008". Das bedeutet: Keine alten Songs und keine gewagten Outfits.

Nicht wenige Fans werden die alte Kylie vermissen. Denn bei ihrer Europa-Tournee, die sie im Mai 2008 auch nach Deutschland führt, sollen die neuen Songs und das neue Image klar dominieren.

Medley statt Hits?

Wie die britische Zeitung "The Sun" berichtet, will Kylie mehr Futurismus und weniger Erotik auf die Bühne bringen. Eine Quelle wird zitiert: "Kylies Show wird sich vom Style her an den neuen Song 'Speakerphone' orientieren" - also elektronisch und kühl. "Und es sieht so aus, als würde Kylie die alten Hits aus der Set List verbannen. Die werden höchsten in einem Medley zu hören sein", heißt es weiter. Ein Kylie-Konzert ohne "Can't You Get Out Of My Head" oder "Spinning Around"? Kaum vorstellbar...

Kylie not so naughty on tour

KYLIE Minogue is set to tone down her raunchy dance routines during her next concert tour.

The Australian songstress, whose famous outfits include a pair of gold hotpants, is believed to now favour a more futuristic look.

And her planned image change is not the only thing that will be different when the KylieX2008 tour opens in Paris in May.

Kylie is reportedly bored of singing her old hits such as I Should Be So Lucky.

"She doesn't really want to dance that much in the show," one unnamed source told the Daily Mirror newspaper.

"And she's bored of singing early hits like I Should Be So Lucky and Better the Devil You Know.

"They will be in a medley at most."

There has been no indication the tour will make it to Australia.

Kylie Minogue admits she has split personalities.

The 2 Hearts singer has so many conversations with "the committee" in her head, she often thinks she has spoken to friends and family about her plans for the future.

Kylie said: "It's not about having two different personalities - it's about having a whole committee in your head.

"It's about having this discussion with the committee about something really important, and assuming it took place for real.

"Like, recently, I was telling my friend William Baker about my next tour and what we're going to be doing on it, and he was looking at me, like, 'What tour, when?' And suddenly I remembered I hadn't actually told anybody I was planning to go on tour again besides myself."

The Australia pop star will embark on a European tour next year to mark her 40th birthday.

Kylie has promised fans the shows, dubbed 'KylieX2008', will be "totally different".

She said: "I am putting together a show that is going to be a new and exciting experience for both the audience and myself.

"The eclectic mix of sounds on 'X' is affording me an opportunity to explore and develop a new live show that will be fresh, exhilarating and innovative."

Kylie seals Dome's glory as most popular venue

nights at the O2 in July and August

More than two million people will visit the O2 arena this year to see a roll-call of international artists including Kylie Minogue and Celine Dion.

The south-east London venue, which opened in June, has become the most popular in the world, overtaking New York's Madison Square Garden, which is expected to sell only 1.1 million tickets this year.

Today, the 20,000-seat arena revealed details of its shows for this year. Minogue and Dion are already booked to appear, as are Alicia Keys, Westlife and Boyzone.

Meanwhile, following the success of Prince's 21-night run of sell-out gigs last summer, negotiations are planned for two more "huge" residencies. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and U2 are all being sounded out on their availability.

In its previous incarnation as the Millennium Dome, the venue was a national joke. But the reinvented Greenwich complex, run by US entertainment firm AEG, was the success story of last year, hosting Led Zeppelin's comeback and the Spice Girls' first shows in Britain for a decade.

Other events in the complex, such as the blockbuster Tutankhamun exhibition and gigs held at the smaller venue IndigO2, have also proved popular.

As well as major music acts, the O2 will host live spin-offs from hit TV shows TheXFactor and Strictly Come Dancing and sports events such as WWE wrestling, supercross and NBA basketball.

Following Monday night's televised concert with Take That and the Sugababes, the O2 is already looking to line up another big name for next New Year's Eve.

David Campbell, chief executive of AEG Europe, said: "We have got off to a great start and have quickly established ourselves as the world's highest-grossing music venue.

"It's been proven that world-class acts in a world-class venue sell tickets and we are delighted. People like to come to the O2 and artists like to play here."

He said the venue's success was part of a "shift" towards east London as the capital's new heartland.

TAKE a good, long, last look lads because KYLIE is to do less wiggling of her perfect behind on her European tour.

The pop princess wants to cut back on sexy routines and give the three-month KYLIEX2008 event a more futuristic look and electronic feel - meaning more songs from recently released album X rather than her big early hits.

A source said: "Kylie’s show will take its style from the X track Speakerphone."

The tour kicks off in Paris in May, reaching the UK in June.

The source added: "It also looks like Kylie is planning on ditching the big hits from the set list. They will be put into a medley at the most."

KYLIE WELCOMES 2008 WITH A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE ON HOOTENANNY!

On December 31st Kylie said goodbye to 2007 with a very special appearance on Jools Holland's annual Hootenanny BBC show.

Kylie's performed a powerful torch song version of 'I Should Be So Lucky' with Jools, along with '2 Hearts' and a sultry cover of the jazz classic 'Come On Strong' accompanied by his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

Kylie then joined Sir Paul McCartney, at his request, to duet with him on 'Dance Tonight' in the last minutes of 2007!

After their respective performances, Kylie and Sir Paul sat together in the audience and watched the rest of the show.

Only a week ago Kylie's appearance on the Dr. Who Christmas Day special achieved the show's highest rating for almost 30 years with viewership approaching 14 million!

On January 19th in Los Angeles, Kylie will follow artists like Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman and Olivia Newton John when she is honoured by her native country at a gala dinner in Hollywood to celebrate Australia Week.

She will then go back to rehearsals for her 2008 sell-out tour which opens in Paris on May 6 and reaches the UK on June 26, when she plays her first date at the Belfast Odyssey. The tour is still being expanded to cope with incredible demand, with recently announced shows in Latvia, Greece and Russia.

Kylie's new album 'X' is out now and her new single 'Wow' will be released in the UK February.
