KYA GermanyKylie: Thruth about split
By Rav Singh & Georgina Dickinson
04.02.2007
HEARTBROKEN Kylie Minogue dumped lover Olivier Martinez in a furious row over his womanising.
She blew her top after our damning photos last week showed he was spending time with two other beauties while she was away.
The News of the World photographed him dining with Lost star Michelle Rodriguez, 28, before they spent the night together.
We also witnessed Israeli-born model Sarai Givati, 24, slipping into the actor's suite at a Hollywood hotel.
But Kylie, wasn't the only one angry with the 41-year-old's playboy lifestyle.
A close pal said: "Olivier got it in the neck from BOTH women this week. Kylie had had enough of him appearing with Sarai as it made her look stupid. And Sarai knew his relationship with Kylie was all but over. They both told him he had to make a choice - ‘It's her or me'."
Another friend of the 38-year-old pop princess said: "Kylie has admitted their relationship has been at breaking point for some time, but last week's pictures in the News of the World were the final straw.
"They've been arguing over her plans to start a family. Because of her breast cancer, Kylie feels the best way is through adoption, but Olivier refused.
Liaisons
"He still feels he can be a natural father to his children and refused to entertain her talk of adoption.
"To Kylie that was heartbreaking. She wants her man to feel the same way that she does about children.
"Eventually she couldn't take it any more. She is sick of reading about his liaisons with other beautiful women.
"Although Olivier denies he was cheating, she was becoming paranoid and feels she has lost all trust.
"Her cancer ordeal taught her that life is too short to waste on bad feelings and they spent too much time arguing." A source told the News of the World last night that Martinez, 41, has also cooled his romance with Sarai, insisting they must not meet publicly, if at all.
On Friday night, a joint statement was released saying: "Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple.
"They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The two remain very close friends."
Yet, even as the statement was being issued, Martinez was partying in Hollywood with another mystery stunner.
He left his exclusive hideaway Chateau Marmont hotel to party with the curvy beauty at a Beverly Hills manision, but this time he went home alone.
Kylie had invited him to join her in Mexico where she is taking a well-earned break from her punishing Showgirl Homecoming tour.
But Martinez had snubbed the chance to hold "clear the air" talks and remained holed up in the hotel. That was where we caught him having secret trysts with Sarai and Michelle - two women he has been linked to in the past.
Martinez had previously promised Kylie he was NOT having a fling with Sarai after spending three nights with her in Paris six weeks ago.
He claimed it was movie business. But we also caught him sharing a romantic dinner with 28-year-old Michelle who he had been spotted kissing outside the same hotel two years earlier.
""They returned to his suite and she emerged next morning in the same clothes.
"Last night a close friend of the couple said: "Kylie knew she and Olivier couldn't go on the way they were. It was tearing her apart."
Kylie met Martinez in February 2003 at the Grammy awards in LA shortly after she had split with model James Gooding.
She believed she had found true love as he supported her through her battle with breast cancer in 2005.
But cracks began to show in the last six months as they were kept apart by her commitments and his desire to lead a Hollywood playboy lifestyle.
The pair were last pictured together in London at the end of December.
Kylie is due in Britain on Tuesday at the launch of an exhibition celebrating her career at the Victoria and Albert Museum, in west London.

Shy guy
French hottie Olivier Martinez is happy to bare his soul ... but not his bod
BY CINDY PEARLMAN
04.02.2007
Olivier Martinez | Picture: kya.pytalhost.net"You're taking advantage of me! You're taking advantage of Olivier!" So cries French sex symbol Olivier Martinez, who must be pressed as FLUFF tries to get to the bottom of his shyness about romance.
After all, this is the guy who got hot and heavy with Diane Lane in a bathroom stall in "Unfaithful" and who famously dates singer Kylie Minogue.
"Please don't expect me to be the ultimate romantic guy just because I'm French," cries the 40-year-old Paris native. "I know a lot of French women who are not even into romance while there are a lot of Greek men who are more romantic than French men. Love doesn't belong to one nationality!"
Martinez, star of the vampire film "Blood and Chocolate," takes time to talk about matters of the heart.
Q: Olivier, please don't ruin our perception of French men and tell us you leave socks in the sink.
A (LAUGHING): "I'm like every other man. Why should I be different because I'm French? I have moods. Sometimes I feel romantic, sometimes not. What I'm sure of is I'm not a specialist of romantic talk and making statements of romance. I don't know more about love than the others."
Q: Seriously, Olivier, women have always admired you, but never more for than how you stuck by your girlfriend, Kylie, during her breast cancer battle.
A: "Thank you. I do need to preserve our private life, but I can tell you she's back and better than ever. I love her very much. When you're in a couple and there is a problem you tackle it together."
Q: Do you ever think about marriage and children?
A: "Why not? I have nothing against marriage, kids and family. In fact, I love family. I come from a very strong family. We are so close ... and I want a family like that of my own."
Q: You were quoted as saying, "Have you not read 'Romeo and Juliet'? People who can turn away from love have not ever been in love. If I love a woman, I love her. Nothing and nobody will stop me." Lovely.
A: "It's beautiful, but I never said it. It's one of those Internet things, but it's a beautiful quote. I don't know what is going on with the Internet. Most of what you read about me is not true. I don't even recognize myself from what I read. Everyone should have a new motto: Don't believe what you read. Believe what you see."
Q: Has Kylie taught you how to sing?
A (LAUGHING): "I've never learned how to sing. I'm not good at many things and singing is one of them. But I should learn. I just don't want to bore the entire world with it. I did sing in one movie, but it wasn't memorable."
Q: Is it true that when you were a struggling actor you were a jeans salesman?
A: "I sold everything from sneakers to jeans. What are you expecting? I was not good at school and I came from a working-class background. You have to survive, so I did all odd jobs. When you're doing that, it's good to remember that you're not going to be there for long."
Q: You were also a boxer?
A: "Yes, I came from a family of boxers. It think that it's good for me as an actor to have done all these jobs. I did read in the newspaper that I was pretty good in the ring."
Q: What's the craziest thing you've ever done for a role?
A: "I got in the cages with real wolves to research the last role in 'Blood and Chocolate.' It wasn't dangerous and nothing happened, although you never really know with wild animals. I guess anything can happen. I felt very comfortable hanging out with a pack of six wolves."
Q: Do you love animals?
A: "Years ago, I was in Morocco sleeping outside. There were goats around my camp and they were attacked by wolves. The wolves came around me but didn't attack me. I know wolves rarely attack men. They actually have bad memories of men attacking them. I love them. Wild is so attractive. I have a dog and he doesn't submit to his master. He's wild. It's fine."
Q: Women want you to do more love stories. Why the delay?
A: "I'm ready for any kind of story as long as I think it's interesting. I'm just an actor. You find a good part in a good movie. You can't worry too much. Just be cool."
Q: But I read that you're really uncomfortable doing love scenes although no one could tell that from "Unfaithful."
A: "The way I rationalize love scenes is that it's all about the character's motivation and saying something.
"I still don't play naked well. I know it's very rare for a French actor to have this issue. But I never will be comfortable with love scenes. I'm shy, I told you!"

Kylie couldn't compete with her love rival
By LAURA COLLINS and PERTER SHERIDAN
04.02.2007
For a woman who is deceptively controlling, it was a surprisingly haphazard exit strategy. But then, right up to the last minute, two scenarios were battling for supremacy in Kylie Minogue's mind.
And it is safe to say that, this time last week, she did not envisage waking this morning so publicly and unequivocally single. That was only ever Plan B.
Six days ago, when Kylie was photographed sashaying into the Palladian nightclub in Acapulco, Mexico, alone and stunning in a flamboyant Pucci minidress and emerald green satin coat, the prospect of singledom was only a notion dangled - misguidedly as it happens - before her then boyfriend, the French actor Olivier Martinez.
Only a short plane ride separated the two. Kylie, 38, was in Cental America supposedly taking a much-needed winter break, while 41-year-old Olivier was in Los Angeles, staying at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont Hotel.
He was promoting the premiere of his latest film, Blood And Chocolate. As the pictures of Kylie, gleaming and glossy, dropped on the screens of picture agencies across the States, her message was clear: "Olivier, if you want to be with me, come and get me."
It was desperation dressed in the flimsy garb of bravado. And it did not work. Olivier did not jump on a plane to be by Kylie's side. He stayed put. It was only then that Plan B swung into action.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, the couple issued a cooly phrased joint statement that their relationship was over. More than a thousand miles apart when the news broke, it is unclear whether Kylie and Olivier actually spoke or whether it was left to 'their people' to handle these unpleasant formalities.
The decision was described as 'mutual and amicable'. More apt, perhaps, would have been 'inevitable'.
However much sadness accompanies the end of this four-year relationship - which encompassed the awful reality of Kylie's breast cancer and 18 months of strength-sapping treatment - the simple fact is that, for Olivier at least, the split is a relief.
And the reality that has come crashing down on Kylie is not some belated recognition that she and Olivier were profoundly incompatible. Rather it is the realisation that he has fallen for somebody else and that there are some events that simply refuse to be 'managed'.
Kylie has been turning a blind eye when others have pointed to Olivier's apparent indiscretions. She has ignored friends' intimations that all may not be well. But no woman can determinedly face down reality when the man she loves falls in love with another woman - particularly when she is palpably more suitable.
Sarai Givati, 24, is the woman in question. And, as The Mail on Sunday has learned, the relationship between this free-spirited Israeli actress and Olivier far pre-dates the first photographs of them together last December.
Then, when Olivier squired her around Paris for three days and, she blushingly recounted, 'three wonderful nights', Kylie did her best to mock the notion that this liaison was anything but a hurtful rumour.
She responded by wearing a leather jacket with Olivier's picture emblazoned on the back during the final concert of her Australian comeback tour in November. It was a gesture that backfired badly, serving only to crystallise the difference between the two: Kylie's mode of communication with her lover was so very public, on stage and not on his arm, writ large and not spoken softly, and thrown out from the other side of the world.
According to one close childhood friend: "Ollie has always been uncomfortable with that side of fame. He has no problem being recognised but he's never wanted to talk about his relationships in public. Ollie has always been an artist. He's adventurous and unconventional."
He is, it seems, as challenged and intrigued by Sarai as he was frustrated by Kylie and her attempts to fashion him into the man she thought she wanted. The friend explains: "Kylie really thought he was the one and adored him. But he's been irritated by her efforts to portray him as a family man who wants to go home to his pipe and slippers every night. That's not him at all.
"He loves mixing with people, building his experience and being a man of the world. He's been a great support to Kylie throughout her illness but that doesn't mean he wants her to cook his dinner every night before they settle down in front of the television."
Blunt sentiments perhaps. But Kylie and Olivier's incompatibility has always been a source of concern to her friends and family and bemusement to his. Every month they remained 'together' only served to underline just how far apart they were.
In background, ambition, character and intellect, it would be hard to conjure a more disparate pair. He is the macho product of a working-class Parisian upbringing, the son of a champion boxer, stubborn and fiercely nationalistic and is left cold by the notion of celebrity.
She is the personification of global glamour, a blandly beautiful creation, a woman whose name is a brand and whose identity and work are inextricably linked.
As she was recovering from cancer, Kylie claimed that she would know she was better when she ate langoustine with Olivier in Portofino. She did that. But her real mark of recovery was getting back on stage - too soon, as it turned out. Still weakened from chemotherapy, she succumbed to flu and has been forced to postpone British dates.
"Olivier was not impressed by her decision to return to touring so soon after her treatment," his friend admits. "They were at loggerheads over her intensive work ethic."
If Kylie's cancer had caused her to review her priorities, ambitions and goals, it seemed to Olivier that the shift was imperceptible. She has reportedly ignored medical advice to slow down, even to give up showbusiness altogether. Certainly with her wealth and status she could do so without any material loss.
But then Kylie is only really Kylie when on stage. And as far as Olivier was concerned in recent months, his world and hers barely converged.
In truth, the couple who began dating in February 2003 have been drifting apart for a long time. Indeed, after the first flurry of passion, Olivier, whose previous girlfriends include actresses Juliette Binoche and Mira Sorvino, seemed in danger of straying and was linked with Angelina Jolie.
Kylie responded by saying she was 'reassessing' her work commitments, longed for children and enjoyed nothing more than a bit of dusting. But the writing was on the wall even then. And according to one close to both, Olivier had planned to end their relationship before her diagnosis in May 2005 but felt unable to abandon her during that devastating time.
"He thought it important to help her through her illness," says the source. "But they were just never together. Even when Kylie turned up in Paris you never saw her with Ollie. I think she sat on the sofa watching TV."
It was against this backdrop that the hammer blow was dealt to Kylie's hopes of a future with Olivier when he found Sarai.
Kylie's desire for a heart-to-heart was only satisfied by her abandoning plans for a family Christmas in Australia and boarding a 22-hour flight to Paris to be with him. Still she thought, according to those close to her, that she might nip any burgeoning infidelity in the bud.
But it was too late. The Mail on Sunday has learned that Sarai and Olivier were already on intimate terms. A mutual friend revealed last night: "By then, their romance was well under way. They met in Los Angeles in the first week of October, where they spent three days at the Chateau Marmont Hotel. They spoke daily on the phone while Sarai was filming in Morocco in November. When shooting finished she flew to Paris to meet up with Olivier.
"This is no quick fling. It's getting quite serious. Sarai may be young but she's bright and very beautiful."
As well as having a burgeoning acting career, Sarai is said to be a talented artist, now exhibiting in New York and working on a forthcoming exhibition in Paris.
"It's not surprising that Olivier would find her fascinating,' says the friend. "She honestly doesn't know where their relationship is going but she'd like to have the chance to find out."
Pictures showing Olivier enjoying a kiss and dinner with Hollywood actress Michelle Rodriguez last weekend were, it seems, simply a smokescreen to protect his fledgling relationship with Sarai, suggesting that he possesses a sensitivity to Sarai's feelings that has run dry as far as Kylie's are concerned.
Little wonder then that Kylie's parents, Ron and Carol, have long voiced their reservations over Olivier.
Kylie's description of him as 'the most honourable man' she has ever met simply did not chime with the behaviour witnessed by the Minogues.
Their anxieties reached a new pitch when consideration for Olivier became a key factor in Kylie's decisions about her cancer treatment.
A family friend explained: "When Ollie stayed at the family home after she came home from surgery, everything had to revolve around him. Kylie was recovering from a major operation but she was worried whether he was happy.
"In the end he went back to Europe saying he was sick of hospitals. Then he insisted Kylie continued her treatment in Paris. It caused a huge family rift.
"Ron wanted her to stay in Australia and be treated by people they knew and trusted. But Kylie did what Olivier wanted."
Last night one well-placed source described Kylie's parents as 'relieved' that their daughter had finally split from the man they viewed as a 'controlling womaniser'.
"Her parents felt Olivier had too strong a hold over Kylie and questioned his commitment to her. They are sad that Kylie now has to deal with a broken heart on top of everything else, but they are relieved that the public humiliation is over. They just want Kylie home now for some TLC and relaxation. They want to see her happy and contented."
They are not alone and nor, though she may struggle to feel convinced of the fact right now, is Kylie.

Seither war klar, dass die Pop-Ikone mit ihren 65 Millionen verkauften Platten ("I Should Be So Lucky", "Can’t Get You Out Off My Head") und der zunächst nur mäßig bekannte Schauspieler ("Der Husar auf dem Dach", "S.W.A.T.") ein Paar waren.

Kylie 'not going home' after split
03.02.2007
Kylie Minogue & Olivier Martinez are no longer a couple
Picture: kya.pytalhost.netPop princess Kylie Minogue has no immediate plans to return home to Australia following her split with her boyfriend, according to a spokesman.
The singer and French actor Olivier Martinez have confirmed they are no longer a couple.
A joint statement released on behalf of the pair said the decision to separate was mutual and added they remained "very close friends".
A Kylie exhibition, charting the star's career, and featuring performance costumes, accessories, album covers and photographs, is due to open to the public at the Victoria and Albert Museum, west London, on Thursday. And the diminutive star is expected to be at the exhibition's launch on Tuesday night, a V&A spokeswoman said.
Minogue's separation from Martinez after a four-year romance comes at the end of a tumultuous time for her. In May 2005, while in her native Australia, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and remained there with her family during the early stages of her treatment.
She was forced to abandon her Showgirl world tour and did not resume it until last November. The tour eventually finished with a string of UK concerts last month.
The 38-year-old singer has spoken of how her "incredible" boyfriend helped her through the darkest days of her cancer battle. She said going through treatment felt "like being in an atomic explosion", but the support of Martinez, 41, was invaluable.
Last November Minogue told Elle magazine: "Olli was there all the time, helping with the practical stuff and being protective. I don't like to say too much in public about Olivier as he's a very private person, but I will say that he was incredible.
"He didn't hesitate in cancelling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me. He's the most honourable man I have ever met."
At the time she denied reports the couple were planning to marry, saying: "I understand the excitement at the prospect of a wedding, but we're simply happy together and getting on with life."

The 38-year-old pop star and the French actor, 41, issued a joint statement to confirm they were no longer a couple.
They said "false accusations" in the media of disloyalty have saddened them but the decision to separate was mutual and they remained "very close friends".
Minogue returned to the stage last year after her recovery from breast cancer and is working on new material.
New tracks
The couple's statement read: "Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple.
"They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable.
"The media's false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends."

Kylie Only Has 'Pop Princess' On Her Resume
01.02.2007Kylie Minogue was determined to return to the stage after winning her battle with breast cancer - because performing it's all she can do.
The pop princess confesses the only other job she would be any good at is secretarial work, and she has no intention of swapping the stage for an office.
The 38-year-old says, "Being a singer and living my life like this is the only thing I know how to do.
"I don't have any form of CV. I'm not trained to do anything else useful. I did typing in year 11 at school and I was pretty good at it - and maybe I'd look good in a secretarial outfit.
"But to be honest, I'm never going to do anything else but this.
"After I was ill I had all sorts of people asking me what I was going to do, as if everything in my life was going to change. My career is hugely important to me. I love being on stage. It really is one of the most amazing feelings in the world and to have it back again is just incredible."
The singer also dismisses rumours about her relationship with boyfriend Olivier Martinez, adding, "There are places in my life that bring me absolute unconditional happiness. One is being up there on stage performing and then I have the absolute opposite, to be in the arms of my boyfriend. If I can have both, I'm a happy girl. You don't need to worry about me."

The pair enjoyed a fleeting romance
Picture: kya.pytalhost.netJean-Claude Van Damme had an affair with Kylie Minogue.
The action hero romanced the diminutive pop star when the pair filmed the 1994 movie Street Fighter together.
Although Van Damme regrets appearing in the much derided movie he is glad he did because he got to get up close and personal to Kylie.
He told Empire magazine: "Street Fighter was corny to me. But there were nice things. I got to see the land of Australia and had a mini-affair with Kylie Minogue. If you ever see her, say hello for me to Kylie."
The martial arts expert also insists he is a lover, not a fighter.
He said: "My last fight was more than 20 years ago. I'm not a fighter, I'm a lover. If somebody's going to speak bad about me, I will walk away.
"But if a guy like Steven Seagal slaps me once, I will slap him twice as hard. Life is full of violence."

Olivier Martinez: Betrügt er Kylie Minogue?
By Peta Hellard and Paul Kent
30.01.2007
Wie die Klatschzeitung «News of the World» berichtet, hatte Olivier Martinez ausgiebigen Frauenbesuch in seinem Zimmer im Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood.

Bisexual lover enters Kylie tryst
30.01.2007
Michelle Rodriguez | Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue | Kristanna Loken | Picture: kya.pytalhost.netThe bisexual lover of Olivier Martinez's "other woman" says she is planning to become a mother using a sperm donor.
Kristanna Loken, the star of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, said she wanted to become a mother and already has a sperm donor who has offered to father the child.
Michelle Rodriguez emerged at the weekend as the woman bewitching Olivier Martinez and luring him away from Australia's most loved pop diva, Kylie Minogue.
Rodriguez, who co-starred with Martinez in SWAT in 2003, reportedly had dinner with Minogue's lover at a Hollywood hotel over the weekend.
Friends of the singer claim Martinez was deliberately trying to force 38-year-old Minogue into dumping him by behaving in an increasingly challenging way.
'Olivier finds Kylie too controlling and neurotic,' one friend told London's Daily Mail.
"But he feels he cannot dump her so soon after her recovery from breast cancer."
Martinez chose Hollywood's Chateau Marmont, a hotel frequently staked out by photographers, for the rendezvous. On the evening he dined at the hotel with Rodriguez - the woman he was spotted kissing in the street two years ago - it is understood the 28-year-old Texan beauty stayed overnight.
Loken, 27, who recently appeared on The L Word, said she has always wanted a family.
"I would definitely like to have a family, and whether that's with a man or a woman doesn't really matter to me," she said. "I've already got my friend who's going to be the donor, so that's taken care of. Just give me a few years and we'll go from there."
Rumours surrounding Rodriguez's sexuality have persisted but she has steadfastly denied she is bisexual or gay.
But in July 2006 she told UK Cosmopolitan she was not gay, but had experimented with women.
Loken claimed she was in a relationship with Rodriguez in an interview for the Advocate in November 2006.

Has Kylie been betrayed again?

KYLIE Minogue's relationship with actor Olivier Martinez looks
doomed after he was caught having secret meetings with
women he has previously denied having affairs with.KYLIE Minogue's four-year romance with Olivier Martinez may collapse after the French hunk was caught having secret trysts with two beauties in Los Angeles.
While the pop princess was busy on her Homecoming tour in Britain last week, Martinez was seen cosying up to the women at Hollywood haunt Chateau Marmont - the same hotel where he met and romanced Minogue in 2003.
Martinez, 41, first hooked up with stunning Israeli model Sarai Givati, the woman he was pictured spending a romantic three-day break with in Paris six weeks ago while Minogue was performing in Australia.

On Friday night, Martinez shared a cosy dinner at the hotel with Lost bombshell Michelle Rodriguez - the woman he was seen kissing on an LA street and on Puff Daddy's luxury yacht two years ago.
Rodriguez, 28, who co-starred with Martinez in SWAT in 2003, spent the night at the hotel and emerged at 9.40 the next morning dressed in the same outfit.
She then caught a taxi to her home 3km away.
Martinez, who starred in hit film Unfaithful, was absent from Minogue's final UK concerts despite reports the petite singer, who battled cancer last year, was ill.
British reports yesterday said Minogue, 38, and Martinez had been regularly fighting about their relationship in recent weeks.
A report in London's News of the World yesterday quoted anonymous friends of the singer saying Minogue was frustrated by Olivier's French arrogance and attitude and had considered ending the relationship a month ago.

morning. | Picture: kya.pytalhost.netThe paper ran photos of Martinez dining with Rodriguez in the restaurant, alongside the picture of Givati refuelling her car on her way to meet the actor the day before.
"They're at loggerheads at the moment," the paper quoted the source as saying.
"Olivier wants Kylie to take more time off and be with him. She wants him to be more supportive of her work.
"Olivier says he's only worried about Kylie's health and is gutted that she won't listen to him.
"Kylie reckons she's rested enough and says it's time to live again."
"She was seriously considering ending it a month ago.
"The last thing she needs is more stress."
Minogue has had a chequered love life since her teenage romance with Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan in the '80s.
She had short-lived affairs with INXS rock star Michael Hutchence, South African male model Zane O'Donnell, French photographer Stephane Sednaoui and British model James Gooding.
Gooding sold the private details of their sex life to the British media after Minogue ended their relationship.
Martinez's previous long-term partners include Oscar-winning actors Juliette Binoche and Mira Sorvino.
Better times ... Kylie and Martinez before the latest incidents, pictured in 2003. She is said to be devastated.
Picture: kya.pytalhost.netIn an interview with close friend Australian writer Kathy Lette in November, Minogue credited Martinez as having pulled her through her battle with cancer.
"Olli was there all the time, helping with the practical stuff and being protective," she said.
"He was incredible. He didn't hesitate in cancelling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me.
"He's the most honourable man I've ever met."
Minogue has been voted the UK's favourite Australian, beating others including Rolf Harris, Olivia Newton-John, Nicole Kidman and Dame Edna Everage.
The survey, which was held to mark Australia Day, showed that Steve Irwin, who was killed by a stingray last September, was voted Britain's favourite Aussie male.
