KYLIE IS QUEEN OF THE DANCEFLOOR!

It's not only the airwaves that are lapping up Kylie's new single 'Red Blooded Woman' - this week Kylie debuted at No.1 on the UK Upfront Club Chart with a red hot mix of the track courtesy of multi-talented DJ/Producer duo Andy Morris and Stuart Crichton a.k.a Narcotic Thrust.
Kylie's pole position new entry marks only the second time in the past 12 months that a there has been a No.1 debut on the Upfront Club Chart.
Stuart Crichton previously masterminded the killer splice of Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' with New Order's 'Blue Monday' for her 2002 Brit Awards performance and this new mix looks set to become another dancefloor monster. The Narcotic Thrust Mix of 'Red Blooded Woman' will feature on the forthcoming 12" single release on March 1st.
And it's not just in the UK where Kylie is filling the dancefloors - Stateside clubbers are not immune to the power of a Kylie beat either with 'Slow' continuing to rise up the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart to a new high of No.2!

Congratulations to Kylie, and writers/producers Cathy Dennis and Rob Davies on their Grammy win last night in the category of Best Dance Recording for 'Come Into My World'.
Kylie was in Los Angeles for the star-studded ceremony where she fought off strong competition from Madonna, Cher, Télépopmusik and Groove Armada to scoop the coveted Grammy Award.
"I have been in L.A. for a week and the town has been full of Grammy fever," said Kylie. "To actually be a recipient is incredibly special. I am thrilled and cannot wait to bring it home."

Kylie joined the likes of Elton John, Black Eyed Peas, Dido, Elvis Costello and K.D Lang at a special dinner at Sony Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night to honour the singer and activist Sting as MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year.
Kylie performed a stunning rendition of the Sting classic 'Every Breath You Take' at the charity dinner which celebrated Sting's contribution to popular music, and honoured his charitable work with Amnesty International and the Rainforest Foundation.
The annual MusiCares Person of the Year charity event, organised by National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, raises funds for the MusiCares programme which assists musicians with financial, medical and personal needs.

Kylie's new single 'Red Blooded Woman' is released in the UK on 1st March. The single follows up the No.1 hit 'Slow', the first single from Kylie's current album 'Body Language'.
'Red Blooded Woman' is available on 2 CD formats and 12". The rare Chemical Brothers remix of 'Slow' features on CD2 and the 12". This track was previously only available to a very small number of club DJ's.
In addition, CD2 features the video for 'Red Blooded Woman' which was shot in Los Angeles just before Christmas.

After much speculation, Kylie.com can officially confirm that Kylie will indeed be appearing live at G-A-Y at London's Astoria on 28th February.
The officially crowned 'Queen of G-A-Y' last appeared at the club night for the launch of 'Light Years' in June 2000 and cannot wait to take to the infamous stage once again.
"I am so excited to be performing once again at G-A-Y," admits Kylie. "There's an atmosphere there that is unlike anywhere else. Last time I performed there they had a huge clock counting down the minutes until the show and by the time I came on the crowd was at fever pitch."
"It's a special venue for me and I have some amazing memories of gigs gone by. So many of the audience go to great lengths to make special outfits and they know the lyrics to the songs better than I do!".
Kylie will be performing the brand new single 'Red Blooded Woman' as well as treating fans to a few surprise favourites!
A limited amount of Advance tickets will go on sale at the G-A-Y Bar on Sun 22nd Feb at Midday, these tickets will go on sale to G-A-Y Passport holders only. (1 ticket per person). G-A-Y Passport holders will have 2 hours to buy their ticket. At 2pm, if the advance haven't sold out, they will go on sale to other customers who support G-A-Y. Priority will always be given to G-A-Y Regulars.
Once the advance tickets are sold, the majority of tickets will then go on sale on the night when doors open for G-A-Y.

It's been a busy weekend for Kylie!
She performed at the the French NRJ awards in Cannes on Saturday and then jetted off to Stockholm on Sunday morning to prepare for a live performance at the Swedish NRJ Awards.
Kylie wowed the audience with a dazzling rendition of her brand new single 'Red Blooded Woman' and collected the Swedish NRJ Award for Best Dance Act, beating off strong competition from the likes of Room 5 and Junior Senior.

Today sees the official launch of the first range of Kylie Minogue dolls!
Created by top toy company JAKKS Pacific/KidzBiz, these dolls bear an amazingly realistic likeness to Kylie.
The doll's head is an exact replica of the pop princess thanks to a unique three-dimensional scanning technology used to create a mould of Kylie's face.
Both Kylie dolls - Silver Nemesis and World Music Awards - feature different trademark Kylie outfits, each lovingly modelled on the Dolce & Gabbana originals.
"For years I have been asked about a Kylie doll, well she has finally arrived and I am delighted!" said Kylie.

Kylie's video for her No.1 hit 'Slow' is nominated for Best Video in the Dance Star USA 2004 Awards.
Shot in Barcelona in September 2003 with director Baillie Walsh, the innovative video for 'Slow' finds Kylie poolside with a host of sexy bods whose syncronated movements create the ilusion of a kaleidoscope.
Dance Star USA 2004 will take place at Ocean Drive on Miami's South Beach on the 9th March. The event will be broadcast and distributed across the globe to the largest television audience of any dance music event.

Congratulations to Kylie for her nomination in the category of Best International Female at the Brit Awards 2004.
Kylie previously won the Best International Female accolade at the 2002 Brit Awards where she wowed the audience and TV viewers with a sensational performance of 'Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head' and scooped the prestigious Best International Album award for 'Fever'.
This latest nomination marks the fifth time that Kylie has been nominated for Best International Female - she was previously up for the award in 1989, 1995, 2001 and 2002. Other nominees for this year's award include Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Missy Elliott, and Alicia Keys.
The Brit Awards 2004 take place at Earl's Court in London on February 17.
