EXCLUSIVE BACKSTAGE PICS FROM NORDIC AWARDS

As you know, Kylie was very excited to give 'I Believe in You' it's very first performance at the Nordic Awards. So much so, that she wanted to share this exclusive backstage picture with kylie.com. 'I Believe in You' went to radio on Tuesday 19th October and had an amazing recepetion flying into the UK airplay chart at number 40. It was played over 300 times.

Kylie appeared at the Nordic Music Awards on October 23rd. For the very first time worldwide, she performed her brand new single 'I Believe In You,' at the completely sold out show in Oslo Spektrum, Norway.
Kylie's performance was one of the highlights of the show, which also included appearances from Robbie Williams, Westlife, Tina Turner, Bryan McFadden, and a wide range of artists from Norway, Sweden and Denmark, including, Nina Persson from the Cardigans, Soundtrack of our Lives, Bertine Zetlitz and Saybia.
Nordic Music Awards, the biggest entertainment show in Scandinavia, was televised live on 23rd October on TV2 Denmark, TV2 Norway and TV4 Sweden, the leading commercial broadcasters in each country.

Kylie gave Johnny Vaughan an early morning surprise today when she popped into the Capital studio to drop off her brand new single 'I Believe In You'!
Johnny knew that he was going to be playing Kylie's eagerly anticpated track but but had no idea that Kylie would be delivering it personally!
Kylie gave the low-down on her recently announced tour dates, her sparkly trousers and finally ended the arguement on what her favourite track was!

TOUR SELLS OUT WITHIN TWO HOURS. EXTRA DATES ALSO SELL OUT, WITH TOUR HAVING TO BE TRIPLED IN SIZE.
Kylie's 2005 tour 'Kylie Showgirl; the Greatest Hits tour' has already broken records for ticket sales which Kylie set in 2002 on her last tour!
Tickets went on sale today for the UK leg of the tour and were sold-out within two hours, bringing down a telephone exchange in the process. The main telephone exchange at Bishopsgate, which handled calls for the London show, crashed shortly after 9am this morning due to the volume of calls. The website handling ticket requests for Birmingham crashed every ten minutes, whilst queues in Glasgow set record levels. Such was the interest in the tour that a second date in Manchester sold out without ever having been announced!
The tour promoter 3A announced this afternoon that ticket sales for this tour had eclipsed those for the 2002 Fever tour in the speed at which they were sold, and the frequency in which dates were added. It was in 2002 that Kylie smashed ticket records in Manchester and Newcastle; she broke the record for the most dates played by a solo artist at Manchester's Evening News Arena, playing to over 85,000 people, whilst in Newcastle, the Arena announced that Kylie's show had been the quickest to sell-out in the history of the venue.
By 6pm tonight, Kylie will have tripled the dates of her 2005 tour, announcing a third date in Manchester, a third in Glasgow, a second in Birmingham and a second at Earls Court.
Kylie said today; "I'm so excited! I can't wait to see all the fans on tour and I know that we can give them one of the best shows they have ever seen. I have so many ideas that I have been saving for this tour and can't wait to play the first show."

Additional Glasgow and Birmingham dates have been added to Kylie's 'Showgirl - The Greatest Hits Tour' and will be on sale at 5.30pm this evening. Second Manchester and London dates are already on sale with tickets for a third Manchester date to be released shortly.
A third Glasgow date has been added on 22nd March and a second Birmingham date has been added on 20th April. As soon as we have confirmation on additional dates for other cities they will be announced right here.

Such has been the demand for tickets to see Kylie live that the first four dates sold out within two hours of going on sale. Over 3,000 tickets were sold during Kylie.com's exclusive pre-sale booking period at 8.00am this morning.
The booking frenzy resulted in telephone and online booking lines being jammed from the moment tickets went on sale. At one point, the main telephone exchange at Bishopsgate crashed from the volume of calls.
Debbie Thomas, director of corporate affairs at Earl Court said: "There was an absolute onsalught on the website and ticket hotlines, and all the tickets were gone within two hours. We do tend to sell out quickly with the likes of Madonna and Elton John - but Kylie has been one of the fastest."

Kylie.com is pleased to announce that Kylie will play her biggest ever tour next year to follow the release of her first comprehensive greatest hits package 'Ultimate Kylie', which is released this year on November 22nd.
The European leg of the tour, entitled 'Kylie ' Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour' will open in Scotland in March, will then move to continental Europe, and return to the UK in April, ending in London at Earls Court in May.
TICKETS GO ON SALE ON MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER.
Kylie is currently in pre-production meetings for the tour, which will be her most ambitious yet. Renowned for staging shows which combine state of the art technology with highly innovative sets, choreography and costumes, she famously commented at the end of her groundbreaking Fever 2002 tour that she had already been thinking of new presentation ideas for a future tour. This is where those ideas will be realised.
Fever 2002 cost 4 million pounds to stage and saw Kylie break records across the world. In the UK she played four sold out nights at Wembley Arena, and could have played more. In Manchester she broke the record for the most dates played by a solo artist at the Evening News Arena, performing to over 85,000 people. In Newcastle, the Arena announced that Kylie's show had been the quickest to sell out in the history of the venue. In total, Kylie played to over a quarter of a million people in the UK.
Kylie is now revisiting her back catalogue, spanning the last 17 years, and creating a running order for the show which, as usual, will feature a host of musical and visual surprises. Most of all though, this will be a celebratory, hits-based show featuring what is, by common consent, some of the best pop music created over the last three decades.
Kylie says: "I'm so excited to tour again. It really is the most amazing, challenging and rewarding part of my career, and to have the greatest hits to celebrate is going to make it so much fun. It's the ultimate place to connect with my fans: to share two hours of music and memories! This will be the culmination of everything I've done so far, with quite a few surprises!".
More details will follow on the creative elements of the show but, already, it looks like Kylie will be putting all her own staging into the venues and some venues have had to be re-configured to accommodate the show. Designers for Kylie's stage wardrobe and those of her dancers will all be announced in due course.
Tickets are £37.50 for all dates. £32.50 tickets will also be available for the Earls Court show. They are limited to 6 per person.

Kylie Minogue, one of the top selling female artists in the world, releases 'Ultimate Kylie', the only comprehensive collection of her greatest hits from 1987 to the present day, on Parlophone on November 22.

Kylie made her first appearance as an NSPCC ambassador at the Matalan Ball at Knowsley Hall, the home of the Earl and Countess of Derby, on Saturday 18 September.
The event saw the launch of the Safe Place Appeal which is set to raise £17 million over ten years to help the NSPCC protect and safeguard children across Merseyside and the North West of England.
Kylie, dined with the 1,000 guests and enjoyed the stunning event which raised over £900,000 for the Safe Place Appeal.
The Safe Place Appeal is chaired by Matalan Chairman and NSPCC supporter John Hargreaves, pictured above with Kylie, who also used the event to announce Matalan's and his family's donation of £6m to the NSPCC.
The Safe Place Appeal will fund a new building in Liverpool which will house existing and new NSPCC services to tackle the devastating effects of domestic violence and substance abuse on children and young people. A newly established team working on There4me.com - a new NSPCC internet service for children - will also be based in the building.

Great new from Germany where 'Body Language Live' has entered the DVD chart at No.2!
The live DVD, filmed at last year's 'Body Language' album launch show at the London Apollo, holds at No.3 for a second week on the UK chart and also makes an appearance in the Spanish chart at No.9!
